The Corinthian Challenge Charity Race 2025

The Irish Injured Jockeys (IIJ) are thrilled to announce that The Corinthian Challenge Charity Race is set to take place once again this year, on Friday, June 27th, 2025, during the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby Festival at The Curragh Racecourse.

Applications are now officially open for an exciting opportunity to compete on the renowned Irish Derby course, all while supporting a fantastic cause the Irish Injured Jockeys Fund (IIJ). This is your chance to push your limits, experience the thrilling life of a jockey, connect with fellow riders, and check this challenge off your bucket list.

To participate in this charity race series, each rider is required to raise a minimum of €3,000 through sponsorship or fundraising efforts. All proceeds will go directly to the IIJ. Additionally, candidates must successfully complete an interview and a race riding assessment to receive their qualification from the Racing Academy and Centre of Education (RACE).
